At the helm of Nirobi Lanka (Pvt) Limited stands Mr. Chaminda Hewapattini, a visionary entrepreneur whose passion and dedication have shaped the organization's purpose and progress. A proud alumnus of D.S. Senanayake College, he pursued advanced studies in Japan from 2003 to 2007—completing Japanese language school and earning a qualification in International Business Management. His career spans roles in production and marketing at Alba Fine Tech and Best Trade Co. Pvt Ltd, reflecting decades of hands-on experience in the Japanese corporate world.

Mr. Hewapattini's deep mastery of the Japanese language—both theoretical and practical—has empowered countless Sri Lankans to migrate to Japan for education, employment, and entrepreneurship. He manages business ventures in both countries and serves as the chief instructor at the Nirobi Lanka Japanese Language Academy. His strategic foresight and operational expertise continue to fuel Nirobi Lanka's mission, making the institution not just a business, but a pathway for transformation. Indeed, Nirobi Lanka is the inspired brainchild of his leadership.

Mr. Anura Gunasinghe serves as both a Director of Nirobi Lanka (Pvt) Limited and its trusted representative in Japan, bringing over three decades of impactful experience bridging Sri Lankan and Japanese cultures. Since his arrival in Japan in 1991, he has cultivated a distinguished career—starting with language studies at Kansai International Language School, then moving into key roles at Yamashiro Kogyo Co., Ltd., including as Export Manager. He later expanded into freelance interpreting and international trade, notably leading Madu International Pvt Ltd for 11 years, where he oversaw machinery exports to Russia.

A permanent resident of Japan since 2006 and a registered interpreter with the Ibaraki Prefecture Police since 2008, Mr. Gunasinghe continues to reinforce the professional bonds of Sri Lankans abroad. He currently oversees operations at Laklivi Laminating Service Pvt Ltd in Sri Lanka, supported by his prior experience as Recruiting Manager at Simindu International Pvt Ltd. As a director, his bilingual expertise, global network, and strategic vision help shape Nirobi Lanka's cross-border recruitment efforts and its support for Sri Lankans navigating Japan's employment and education systems.

Leading Nirobi Lanka's operations in the UAE, Mr. Upali Gamage is a seasoned professional with over 24 years of government service as a Health, Safety, and Environment Inspector. His deep-rooted experience and cultural understanding make him a trusted guide for Sri Lankan candidates pursuing opportunities in the Emirates. His insights into local labor laws and employer expectations have helped hundreds of individuals transition smoothly into work and study in the UAE.

Beyond his official role, Mr. Gamage also serves as Chairman of the CGTTI Alumni UAE (2023–2025), strengthening ties within the Sri Lankan expatriate community. His leadership ensures that our candidates benefit from both credibility and clear pathways into the region's job market and tertiary education system.

As Recruitment Manager of Nirobi Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Mr. Indika Gunawardena brings more than 35 years of experience in Sri Lanka's consumer durables industry and people-focused leadership. An alumnus of Ananda College, his professional journey began at Singer Sri Lanka, where he served as District Manager for a decade. He later joined Abans Company as the first Showroom Manager in its retail channel - playing a pivotal role in shaping customer and team engagement standards.

Serving as the Company Secretary of Nirobi Lanka, Mr. M.A.W.P. Wijerathna brings over two decades of professional expertise in finance and business strategy. A graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a B.Sc. in Business Administration (Special), he is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ACA–ICASL).

In addition to his role at Nirobi Lanka, Mr. Wijerathna holds leadership positions as Partner of a reputed audit firm and Director of a private limited company. His scope of work includes strategic planning, tax advisory, and delivering audit and assurance services across multiple industries - ensuring sound financial governance and sustainable growth for every organization he serves.
